Last week, I didn’t really post all that much. Every once in a while, I hit a wall. The pandemic feels like it’s dragging on, and let’s be honest here, every day feels pretty much the same – homeschooling, writing, trying to gather energy. There is, however, one very big event happening fairly soon: We’re going to be welcoming Baby 5 to our family! This was a pretty big surprise since we were certain we were done and that Miss 3 would be our last baby, but in May, we’ll have a 22-year-old college graduate, a 7-year-old, a 5-year-old, a 4-year-old, and a newborn. We’ll also be celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. So our house will be gaining both chaos and snuggles.
And I do mean chaos…
We’re excited, despite the breif interruption in our wine-reviewing and cocktail concocting to share with you all. It took a bit of time to get to a place. We’re having another girl, so that will be fun. While we shared on social media earlier and we shared with our families and friends pretty much right away, it hasn’t seemed all that real until now – when I’m just about 3 months from my due date.
I suppose it’s a good thing I never got around to donating my baby-wearing and other newborn gear!
