Subscription boxes are a lot of fun. (I know I look forward to my Medusa’s Makeup box every month). If you’re in a position where you’re wondering what to get that hard-to-by for person, you may want to check out some of these fun subscription box options. Here are some of my favorites.

For Him: SaloonBox

SaloonBox Garden Delight Cocktail

I actually wound up gifting SaloonBox to my husband for Father’s Day a couple years ago, and it was a lot of fun. We got to try new cocktails that we ordinarily wouldn’t get a chance to try. There’s enough to make two each of two different cocktails. December’s box has the “Bacon Bourbon Old Fashioned” and “The Earl.”

SaloonBox costs $54.99 for a month, $158.99 for three months, $305.99 for six months, or $587.99 for a year. You can subscribe to SaloonBox here.

For Her: FabFitFun

FabFitFun has a little bit of everything: makeup, brushes, beauty stuff, jewelry, accessories, and more. Subscribers can customize boxes to their taste, as well. This can be great for women who like glam and makeup, but who are picky about what they like.

FabFitFun boxes come four times a year. They cost $49.99 for one seasonal box or $179.99 for a full year of four boxes. You can subscribe to FabFitFun here.

For the Coffee Lover: Bean Box

Bean Box is actually one of my favorite subscription boxes that we get. (You can read my full review of Bean Box here.) Each month, you get to try a new coffee roast. We’ve subscribed for a couple of years now, and still haven’t come across a coffee we haven’t enjoyed.

Bean Box costs $78 for three months, $144 for six months, and $276 for a full year’s subscription. You can choose all roasts, dark roasts, light roasts, espresso, medium roasts, or even decaf. Subscribe to Bean Box here.

For the Kids: Green Kid Crafts

I homeschool, and I like to find fun science activities for my kids to engage in. Green Kid Crafts provides a monthly discovery box with 4-6 Science and Art Kits and a magazine. We’ve done the Robot Workshop and the weather kit, and had great fun with both. Not only are the kits educational, but the kits make use of recycled materials, and suggestions for further activities stretch the kits out. If, like me, you have more than one child, you can get sibling subscriptions, and those have enough materials for two children to complete all activities.

Subscriptions to Green Kid Crafts start at $17.95 a month. Options include age-specific activities (there’s a junior box for ages 2-4), the option to include a book related to the theme, and sibling options. You can subscribe to Green Kid Crafts here.

For the Wine and Cheese Lover:

Wine Down Box

Who doesn’t love wine and cheese pairings? Wine Down Box sends subscribers a wine, cheese, charcuterie, and crackers that pair well together. When I reviewed Wine Down Box, I was really impressed with how well they paired things up. While I didn’t ultimately subscribe to this box, I wouldn’t at all argue with someone wanting to gift us a subscription (wink wink hint hint).

Subscriptions to Wine Down Box cost $70 for one month, $204 for three months, $390 for six months, and $756 for a full year. You can subscribe to Wine Down Box here.

For the Foodie: Bon Appetit Box

The Bon Appetit Box is a great option for those who love food. Each box contains a selection of treats – from chocolate and hazelnut spread (my personal favorite) to butter cookies and mints. You also get cards that give the history behind each included item and a postcard.

Subscription options include choosing between the snack or full box. For the snack box, two-month subscriptions are $70, four-month subscriptions are $120, and six-month subscriptions are $180. The full box is $150 for a two-month subscription, $296 for a four-month subscription, and $438 for a six-month subscription. You can subscribe to the Bon Appetit Box here.
