Interestingly enough, in today’s Masquerade Book Tours review, the author is a teenager weaving together complex situations together for other teenagers to read. It’s almost a love letter to the Pacific Northwest as well. The author captivates her audience by weaving together the ancient world of 500 BC with present day youths. I couldn’t stop reading, and I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out. If you enjoyed books like The Hunger Games, you’ll enjoy Aegis Rising.

I am currently working on Aegis Incursion, book two of the Aegis League Series. It is due for release at the end of November/December this year. I’d be more than happy to send you a copy for review, if you like, before the official launch. I would love to hear your thoughts on it 🙂
Here is the synopsis:
On a bright July morning in 1948, a B-29 Superfortress flying a top secret research mission over the skies of Nevada crashes into the mirrorlike waters of Lake Mead and sinks into its depths, remaining lost for half a century.
Autumn, 2015 – Five friends who had vanished for several weeks after their small plane crashed in a remote forest in Northern Canada mysteriously reappear in a small town in Yukon with no recollection of what had happened to them.
Summer, 2016 – A baffling contagion spreads across the bread-basket of North America. Widespread famine and riots ensue as this dark shadow marches across the planet, forcing desperate nations to the verge of war.
As these events converge, a prophesied battle ignites. From expansive crop fields in the Great Plains to nefarious laboratories across the United States, intrepid defenders known as the Aegis League race against time to save the world, even as their foe continues to unleash a cataclysmic scheme upon the planet.
